The Porcelain Veneers Process

The first step in the veneers process is to create a design of your new teeth. We take photos and intraoral photos and the doctor meets with you to understand your goals for your smile. Together you’ll decide on the shape and color of the veneers.

Once your temporary veneers are ready, we’ll prepare your teeth for veneers attachment. The doctor will shave down a small amount of tooth enamel and roughen the surface to ensure firm attachment.  He shaves off as little of the tooth surface as possible in order to maintain the integrity of your teeth.

When your new veneers are ready, your doctor will have you come in to check them for fit, veneers shape and color. Once satisfied with the results, your new veneers are permanently cemented into place before they are shined and polished to look like the dazzling star you are.
